Amanda earned her Master's Degree in Clinical Social Work from Syracuse University in 2004. She graduated with a specialty in treating individuals, families and groups. Her Bachelor's Degree was received with honors from SUNY Binghamton University in 2001.

Amanda has 21 years of experience in helping individuals, couples and families.  She has worked with all age groups in both outpatient and inpatient mental health settings.  Her experience includes Clinical Social Work at the Richard H. Hutchings Psychiatric Center, St. Joseph's Outpatient Mental Health Clinic, Chenango County Mental Health Clinic, and private practice. 

She has extensive training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy(CBT) through Upstate University Hospital and the Office Of Mental Health. This includes Trauma Focused-CBT, CBT for Depression and Anxiety, and CBT for Personality Disorders with Judith Beck PH.D.  She has also completed additional training in Co-Occurring Disorders, Systems Centered Therapy, Substance Abuse in Trauma or PTSD, Family and Couples Therapy, and ADHD in Children and Adults.
